All our school ball include consultations with your school teachers and ball committees to discuss both what you want your ball to look like and your song requests for the night. With over 80 000 songs we can accomodate any theme! We welcome requests and if we don't have your particular song, we will download it then and there using our mobile wifi system.

Mix Media Events also offers a very under-used technique of the old school mirror ball with a twist. Instead of the boring simple coloured lights pointing at the mirror ball, we raise the bar and hit it with huge 3000mw lasers to create an amazing. Avatar themed, we organised and supplied the Avatars (costumes and make up) the lighting for the 35m+ long tunnel, room lighting, trussing, band, DJs, photographers, videographer, LED lighting, moving lights, virtical smoke machines, custom DJ booth/table as well as the huge sound system. Keeping the memories of your great night is one of the most important elements of a ball. And of course the other most important element is getting all of the photos online for all your friends and family to see and enjoy.
With Mix Media we know thats what you want and we know the last thing you need is to spending even more money on photos that you can't put online. Thus with every school ball and social that you have with us (including a photographer) will have its photos uploaded straight to the Mix Media Events Facebook page for you to tag yourselves in and share with your loved ones.
Formal and informal photographer are availible here at Mix Media Events. Plus new to 2014 are photobooths, a great new way to save on money and photo backdrops.
We use only the very best photographers and are all availbable with any package or by them selves for any school ball or social of yours.

One of the most important aspects of any ball is the theme, getting that wow factor when you walk into the venue. Theming goes hand in hand with the entertainment and the audio visual for the night which is why with Mix Media Events, we can organize absolutely everything for you.
From special effects make up and costumes to custom made Willy Wonka gates, not forgetting the ever famous balloon drop, is all possible with Mix Media Events and the creative and passionate team at Activities and Events Unlimited.
